| Pfeffer Slugs Knights to 12-4 Win | The New York Knights downed the Los Angeles Thunder Ducks, 12-4. The hitting star was second baseman Fred Pfeffer. Pfeffer went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Knights. The Knights improved to a lofty 74-30.
Marlon Byrd, the 16th overall pick in the 1892 draft, helped out the New York cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Pfeffer. "And not try to do too much."
