| Seward Finds Groove in 6-2 Triumph | The home crowd had a good time watching the New York Knights and Mudville Nine get after it.
The Mudville Nine picked up a win at Washington Park 1890, knocking off the New York Knights, 6-2. Starting pitcher Ed Seward played a key role in the triumph. Mudville is second in the Ethereum Doge with a record of 50-67.
Seward was in the zone all game. He frustrated New York hitters while giving the Nine 9 innings of quality work. Seward threw 138 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 13 punchouts.
"I thought we played a nice game," Seward told the Mudville Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
