| Stenzel Slugs Thunder Ducks to 10-6 Win | The Los Angeles Thunder Ducks beat the Plattsville Millstones, 10-6, at Eclipse Park I. The Thunder Ducks got a fine performance from center fielder Jake Stenzel, who went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Los Angeles starter Toad Ramsey was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 10-5. Bob Kuzava was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.
With Los Angeles leading 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Stenzel hit a fastball from Tink Riviere for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Thunder Ducks ahead, 8-2.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Stenzel said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
The win hiked the Los Angeles record to 47-27.
