Grizzly Gulch rode a fine outing from starter Cy Young to victory over the Boston Boomers at Ridgewood Park. The final score was 9-2. With the win, Grizzly Gulch raised its record to 43-23.

With scoring opportunities rare, the No Soxs had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when designated hitter Sam Thompson hit a 2-run single. The single came off Ed Stein and made the score 2-0, No Soxs. Thompson was 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
