| Vampires Raise Rally Flag, Beat New York, 2-1 | New York pitcher Bill Hutchinson gave the Vampires all they could handle, but in the end, Creepy Hollow left The Round Table with a win, 2-1. Hutchinson allowed 2 runs on 4 hits over 8 innings. Cecilio Guante converted his 4th save in 4 tries. The Vampires raised their record to 27-44.
Creepy Hollow used the timely hitting of Paul Radford to capture the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Vampires on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
Radford called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
