| Bluebirds Down Vampires, 8-4 | Bay City Bluebirds starter Lee Viau was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Creepy Hollow Vampires, 8-4. Bay City is 26-28 and Creepy Hollow, with the loss, 21-32.
Ed McKean dealt the Vampires a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with the bases loaded and Bay City leading 1-0, McKean, who finished 5th in the BTC in triples with 5 last year, hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Viau.
