| King Sizzles, St. Louis Fizzles | Creepy Hollow Vampires hurler Silver King was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the St. Louis Wolves, shutting them out 2-0 on 5 hits.
"Silver was very aggressive tonight," Creepy Hollow manager Tom Loftus said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
Through 9 innings, King tallied 9 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk.
"He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Manny Pernia said. "King has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
