Knights Drop Senators, 4-2 | The game between New York and Albany is in the books, despite a little rain.
New York rode a decent outing from starter Togie Pittinger to victory over the Albany Senators. The final score was 4-2. Jose Castillo converted his 14th save in 17 tries.
It could have been a different outcome for New York, had it not been for Germany Smith, the 27-year old shortstop . Smith contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put New York up, 2-1.
"We want to make a habit of winning," Smith said after the game.
With the victory, the Knights upped their record to 86-61. | | | | |
