Nordiques Take Nail-Biter Over Thunder Ducks
The Baltimore Nordiques walked off with a big win.

Roger Connor helped his team muscle past the Los Angeles Thunder Ducks, 10-9. In the game, the Baltimore first baseman hit 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times. Baltimore pitcher Henry Gruber got the win. He's now 6-6. Charlie Bartson was tagged with the loss.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 14th, with Baltimore trailing 9-7, Connor hit a fastball from Charlie Bartson for a 3-run home run, giving the Nordiques the walk-off win.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Connor, "but we got it done."

With the win, Baltimore upped its record to 68-67.
