Billy McCool appears headed for a big payday.

The impending free agent turned in a dominant season with the Cedar Grove Renegades in 1904 and has won the Southern League Reliever of the Year Award.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mike Hartley of the Peapack & Gladstone Poison Toads finished second in voting, while Mike Gardiner of the Chula Vista Flying Squirrels finished third.
